Frequently Asked Questions

How do I buy tickets?

Subscriptions, FLEXpass coupons, and Super Pops! tickets are available at the Symphony Center. Single tickets for Masterworks Series Concerts are available from the RiverPark Center Box Office or Ticketmaster Outlets. Tickets are available two weeks before the concert (earlier for subscribers and people redeeming FLEXpasses).

Where can I find this season's calendar?

Click here for this season's schedule.

Doesn't the Symphony only play "stuffy" music?

No! From Broadway to Beethoven, holiday favorites to opera, there's something for all ages and musical tastes!

How long is the average performance?

Each performance lasts about two hours, including an intermission.

How should I dress?

Dress comfortably. Feel free to come as you are.

What if I don't know anything about classical music?

No problem. We provide a free program guide at every concert which contains informative notes about the evening's performance, composers, and guest artist(s). You are welcome to join Maestro Palmer at 6:45 PM, prior to the concert, for High Notes, a pre-concert discussion.

What time do performances begin?

Each performance, unless otherwise noted, begins at 7:30 PM.
